uMax Data Attends Street Law Hong Kong's Summer Academy on Mock Trials to Promote Legal Technology
On August 17, 2022, uMax Data participated as a partner in the "Summer Academy on Mock Trials: Our Distance from Discrimination" organized by Street Law Hong Kong. uMax Data held a legal tech workshop titled "Lawtech Experience Session - Being a Smart Litigator," providing a legal technology experience session with its product LawMiner®, allowing students to get a head start in understanding more tools and applications in the legal industry.
uMax Data's Regional Director, Ms. Li Ai Ming, shared the pain points of the traditional legal industry, the structure of the Hong Kong courts, and introduced the AI legal market analysis platform LawMiner®.
uMax Data's Project Manager, Mr. Yeung Chin Yiu, explained the applications of legal technology to the students, demonstrating how to quickly obtain analysis using LawMiner® in five steps with various scenarios as examples.
Towards the end of the workshop, uMax Data guided the students in conducting legal research activities using LawMiner® and held a competition. Everyone was highly engaged, and the session was successfully completed.
