Analysis of Internet Public Opinion: Waste Charging Bill

The draft of the waste charging bill was passed on the second and third readings of the Legislative Council on August 26. When it is officially implemented, citizens must purchase designated garbage bags to dispose of garbage. It is expected to be officially implemented as soon as 2023. After the news was announced, online public opinion discussions immediately ignited.

【串流平台本地表現大比併】「黃Viu」討論度不及myTV Super?

近日有研究公司指,土生土長的Viu OTT(俗稱「黃Viu」)在東南亞市場的訂閱用戶人數首度超越Netflix,現排第二,僅次於Disney+。

相關消息發布後,不少媒體便先後指出若以觀看時長或收費模式作比較,便會得出不同的結論。如是者,若以其他角度切入,亦會有不同的結論。

香港源大數據今回就以網路表現作切入點,運用社交聆聽(Social Listening)分析坐擁本地最多訂閱用戶的三大串流平台:myTV Super、「黃Viu」、Netflix,再加上在東南亞市場排第一的Disney+進行分析,了解哪個平台最常被本地媒體及網民提起,以及網民的討論方向。

關於Netflix的帖文聲量及互動熱度值同樣第一

是次分析以Disney+宣布登陸香港作起點,分析了去年十二月至今本地網絡大數據,發現即使Netflix近半年一直被批評「無嘢睇」,依然是被提及得最多的平台,佔總數58.1%。在東南亞地區訂閱人數最多的Disney+反而排第二,佔18.6%;剛獲喜訊的「黃Viu」則不敵大台收費平台myTV super,僅佔8.8%,排第四。

myTV super因《聲夢傳奇》及奧運直播,熱度值於七月大幅度飆升

在互動熱度值方面,「黃Viu」年初曾一度升至第二位,可惜無法保持走勢,終得第四。反觀另一本地平台myTV super因《聲夢傳奇》及奧運直播,相關熱度不單於七月大幅度飆升,更超越接連推出多齣話題作的Disney+,排行第二,佔34.8%。而Netflix在多部韓劇的支撐下,於熱度上同樣排第一,佔45%。

另外,據數據顯示,曾提及平台名稱的帖文中,超過八成針對內容,針對收費的僅得一成,針對畫質及流暢度的帖文則分別僅佔5%及2%。
