E-commerce platforms struggled with the shortage in manpower during the fifth wave of the pandemic and extended their delivery time from days to weeks, which lead to tons of customer complains. Among them, online supermarket HKTVmall and ztore are the most discussed.
uMax Data collected the online big data from 1 – 18 March, from major social media and online news, analyzed the online reaction of how the two platforms respond to the incident and how they affect netizens’ perceptions of the platform.
